Attitude, after all, is Everything.

I GOT A NEW HOUSE!!!! I know that a lot of you already know but this was the first chance i have been able to sit and write things down.
It is a rental property on a large piece of land. It is in Cedar Rapids, which is so much closer to work and my friends, and is also super cute. When i say cute i mean REALLY SMALL but i like it. The land lord has given me permission to paint the walls whatever color i want and is putting in a washer and dryer for me. The kitchen has lots of cupboard space and an open window area to see into the living room, which opens up the space a little more.
I am so excited about being able to paint but didn't realize how much work it is really going to be. My body already hurts from washing walls and horseback riding. I don't have my camera because it is with my sister in Chicago, but i will take pics as soon as i get it back. I know that when it is done it will look fabulous but right now i am a little overwhelmed by all the work.
Of course C is using work as an excuse not to help, so that is a huge pain in my butt. It is one thing to have all this work, but to not have anyone to help is even worse.
I am excited to get into the house and get it primed and ready to paint today. I am hoping that the closer it comes to getting done, the easier it will be. I really understand why people hire others to do this stuff for them.
I had better get going to the house and get it primed. I will try to keep you updated on how it is coming along. I wish i had a whole week off to get this stuff done. Two days just isn't enough. This house needs A LOT of work.
