hypocondriact or not?

Ok, so first of all I don't know if i spelled that right or not but i did forget to tell you about more body problems.
I have no idea if i remembered to tell you that I fell in january and ended up with a ride to the emergency room. The ambulance techs told me that they thought it was dislocated so they strapped my arm to my body and my boss took me to the hospital. The dr found nothing in the x-rays and after a shot of morphine and an rx for hydrocodone i thought i was in the clear. The doc thought that it was my rotator cuff but thought it would be fine in a week or two.
Or so i thought.........
I finally paid off my hospital bill last week and now my arm is hurting very badly again. Before it was a minor annoyance but now i can't function with it again. Totally suckiness. So i am going to the dr tomorrow morning where i am sure she will tell me to rest it, which i have tried, and to ice it which i have done. We will see tomorrow. Plus I have another cold that is turning nasty again so i can get that all taken care of. It doesn't help that the coughing hurts my shoulder.
I think i have made up for the lack of blogging the last couple of weeks. Three entries should do it.
I work another 10 to 9 shift tomorrow so am totally excited for that. lol. NOT!!!

I have a friend staying with me too right now. Her husband was deployed to Korea so she has come home to iowa until he comes back. Her apartment next door isn't ready so she is staying with us for a couple of weeks. It is really nice having someone else to help you cook and clean and to keep me company when i am doing the laundry.
tell you more later.

For shoulder problems (of which I am somewhat of an expert...) do the following. Ice every day at least twice for 20 minutes. Go on an ibuprofen regimen of 400mg 3 to 4 times a day. This should get rid of the pain if it's muscular - but if it doesn't hurt make sure you use it as little as possible. If it doesn't get rid of the pain, it's a join problem and probably rotator cuff. I can recommend a great surgeon in Cedar Rapids when I had mine done in 2000....but it's a long recovery. Another good thing if you can minimize the pain is to do strength training. I can emai you exercises. Love you
