Is cold season ever over????

I was sick on wednesday on my day off, so spent the day on the couch. I cooked dinner and Chris tucked me in for the night. He was so sweet and when i said thank you for taking care of me he said that I was sick and needed to rest. It was cute. I am still sick tonight but am feeling better. I got up yesterday morning to the sight of more freaking snow. I thought that with the 40 degree weather mother nature had got the hint that we are sick of the winter!!!!!!
Before I fall asleep because of nyquil I wanted to share with you what a wonderful experience I have had the last two days. i had two customers make me realize why it is that i do my job. I had one customer write to my boss and tell her that I had done a wonderful job and it was because of people like me that he is going to buy glasses from our company and will not go to another. Another customer gave me a picture frame with a picture of flowers that he grows. His wife had called from Miami and said that he had lost his glasses. So i had an identical pair made and sent them to miami next day. I then had a second pair waiting for him when he got home because he was going to be here for several weeks. He couldn't believe the service I gave and was so thankful he gave me a picture frame. It was great.
In the year or so that i have been working for this company I have gone above and beyond for so many people to make their days just a little better, or if not their day, their experience in my store. This is the first time that it has come back as a great reward for me. For the letter the company gives me a presidents pin as recognition and the picture frame i will have to remember the appreciation.
I hope that everyone somewhere somehow finds someone who will be thankful for being themselves just like my customers have. It is a wonderful feeling and something that everyone should experience. It might make people a little happier every single day.
My love and thoughts to everyone. Please treat everyone the same way that you would like to be treated!!! That is my only lesson for the day.
