I was supposed to have the day off today but ended up having to work. I did have a great time with allison this afternoon and lunch with a friend but then got called into work because my boss was having contractions. She left work at 5pm with contractions 15 mins apart thinking that she would spend the rest of the week at home, pregnant and miserable. Her husband took her to the hospital at 7pm and the baby was born at 7.45pm. How awesome is that. So needless to say we are all picking up some very long shifts and more days because she will be gone but i am hoping to stop by before work tomorrow. They named her Malia. Totally my idea!!! Will send pics soon i hope.

I'm so proud of you - you're dedicated and like your job (most of the time!!). How wonderful that your boss chose the name you suggested - and it's a lovely name too. BTW - love the change of picture on your blog!
