my birthday weekend

so my birthday weekend was awesome. My sister came into town and we celebrated well. We started the evening back in CR with dinner at one of my favorite restaurants and then the whole restaurant sang happy birthday to me. It was awesome!!!! Then we woke up the next morning and went to breakfast at a great little diner and then did that awesome bridal shopping with rach. In the evening C totally freaked out for the stupidest reason and ruined the evening. Rach and I were going to go drinking at the local bar but i was not in the mood and later felt really bad that i ruined her weekend away.


So on Sunday we got up and went to the grocery store before going to the campsite. We sweated balls all day but drank and talked and ate and watched the dog jump into the lake. We were stormed out by 9.30pm and then drove home farely fast to beat the tornados.


We spent the evening hanging out and playing scene it on the tv. It was a lot of fun. On Monday hung out with T and J at the park and my new friend trish came too. It was so much fun. We then went back to T and J's house and i poured my heart out over half a bottle of UV vodka. Come tuesday morning I took Rach to CV to meet her friends and then continued to nurse my hang over for the rest of the day.
I have been working like crazy since my birthday and was really sad that I couldn't answer my birthday phone calls. My parents were great and called. Work bought me a candy bouquet that later my real mum told me not to eat because of the bad things candy will do for you. And also a friend from the cedar rapids store brought me balloons and a applebees gift card. It was awesome.
My new friend trish has been great for me this last month and sometimes it is ok to laugh uncontrolably like school girls. LOL. I missed everyone this year but also felt appreciated by all my friends around me.
I got two rings and a necklace for my birthday from Chris and tickets to a concert from my sis. From Trish I got perfume that is awesome, a picture frame, gummy bears and m & m's that are an inside joke for us. Lol.
all in all turning 26 was a good year. If this is the last birthday i really celebrate i will never regret it. Thank you everyone.
